John Duncan
John Duncan has been performing with
the Light-Fingered Five since 2005 and is currently serving as their
business manager as well. John teaches theatre arts at Portland
Community College. He has acted, designed, produced, written and
directed plays in Oregon for twenty-eight years. In recent years he
has directed Extremities for the New Group Theatre
Company,
“Master Harold” . . . and the boys at the West
End Theatre
and at Chemeketa Community College, and Crimes of the Heart at
Portland Community College. John is also the faculty advisor for the
PCC Improv Team (PANTS), and the Artistic Director for the New Group
Theatre Company, which is currently producing She Stoops To
Conquer in late April and May at the Shoebox Theatre in
Portland.
Aimé Kelly
Aimé Kelly is one of the original members of
Light Fingered Five. She is also a professional voice actor working both
locally and internationally and performs with Twilight Repertory Theatre and
KBOO’s “The Sudden Radio Project.” She has been involved in a variety of dance
and theatrical stage productions over the years
Aimé Kelly is the Youth Art and Conditioning Coordinator for the Multnomah Arts Center
as well as a Theatre Arts instructor. She is an active member of The Committee for
Audio Description in the Arts (CADA), a service for the blind. Aimé holds a
bachelor degree with honors in both Theatre Arts and Arts and Letters. She
loves laughter, llamas, wine, and cheese.
David Gallic
David likes to improvise. In fact, he does it daily, usually in everyday
conversation with others. He especially enjoys to act like
he's somebody else, but he usually saves that for
Light Fingered Five
performances. He joined the group in 2006 and is an active member (or at least
tries to be) of the local community theatre scene.
Jared McClain
After
one life changing fourth grade taleent show, Jared made a vow that he
would do all he could to make the world smile. Jared has been
with The Light Fingered Five since its conception in the summer of 2003.
Melissa
Berntsen
Melissa
has worked in stage and film for over 10 years. Her love of
comedy surfaved when she joined the famous Groundlings comedy troupe
based in Los Angeles. Melissa enjoys teaching comedy to
underserved children.
Tom Henderson
Tom is a student of both mathematics and improvisational theater.
He thinks that both are pretty damn funny.
J. J.
Hawkins
J.J. was raised on a steady diet of Movies, Comic Books, and every
aspect of Pop Culture he could get his grubby little hands on. No one
is suprised more than he that he found a use for it all with the Light
Fingered Five.
